I think the Coke bezel would look amazing on your Great White. Beautiful watch!

Makes me want to find a spare bezel and get a pepsi so I can swap back and fourth

I have to admit... I think it's gorgeous! The array of various bezels on eBay, with their varied fonts, minute-hashes, colors, scales is truly dizzying, but easy to narrow down as one looks for what ya like. I think that Coke and the Black are both beautiful, and I appreciate them without aspersion of any sort!

Looking on eBay, they make a white bezel insert... you could go with the "arctic" vibe. I think that the black would overwhelm it too much. Maybe the Pepsi?

Re: 50th GMT Ceramic bezel mod

I've been inspired to try change the insert on my 2254.

Followed this to make a bezel remover tool and the bezel came off just fine.

Without wanting to destroy anything, now I'm having a hard time popping out the original aluminium insert. Anyone have tips on how to pop it off ?

They are press fitted; just press it with your fingers on the inside limb at 2 locatioms on opposing sides. Or if you can find a circular object of the right diameter you can press it from the inside limb as well.

Thanks. I ended up soaking the bezel in hot water first for a few minutes. Then held the bezel in the DIY removal tool before pushing the insert out with a soft blunt tool.

Looks like the insert was held in with a touch of glue on mine. Seems to be some clear glue when I cleaned out the bezel.
