Accuracy of a X33 with the straight 1666 Movement

I apologize in advance if this is a tossed around topic. Just wondering what anyone owning an original movement is getting over a month/year. Thank you all!

My original 1666 in my Gen2 was about +1sec every 4 or 5 days from memory. Not great but it was a very consistent increase, so stable if not accurate. After several years and some mistakes on Omega's part during a full service I ended up with a free upgrade to the 1666C which is under +10sec per year when mostly off the wrist. It sits on the office desk when not worn so subject to lots of temperature fluctuations.

Accuracy of a X33 with the straight 1666 Movement

Thank you for the info. Good to know. It seems as though there is a wide swing in accuracy on these 1666 movements. The “C” and subsequent “D” seems to have tightened the specs on these. Interested in hearing what others are getting too. Take care and grateful for you reaching out. Best Blaine

The C and D variants are thermo compensated and can be tuned +ve and -ve by shorting contact points inside. When Omega SC upgraded my base 1666 to the C version they tuned it to +0.1sec/day. It's been several years since and it's gained a little more I think but still very accurate.
