One in London is offering BNIB with papers (Yes Omega actually give you your warranty card when you buy a new watch) for £3100, £800 off list, so that will be my rec to him.

    Thanks for your help.

Always run a deal by an AD. Ive used both AD and grey over the years and you may be surprised how an AD can help. The last watch I bought was an omega and they beat the grey seller price. I didnt even intent to test the waters but I was walking past, had an hour to spare so thought I would give it a shot. I have to say I was really surprised they beat the grey seller but I got to try all combos on and had the benefit of the AD stamped card. The SMP is a bit harder to get a deal on in the UK. It also dependent on colour. I think the blue is a little harder to get. The last time I went to check out the SMP they had sold out of blue but said they could get one within a few days. If you want the black bracelet version I would say that may be easier to get a deal on. Best of luck sourcing your SMP

Did quite a bit of traveling this summer. In Australia and Bali the discount at duty free boutiques was in the 15-20% range.

    Cheers,

Got to be local to him in the U.K as he is a non WIS and has just fallen in love with the blue dial Seamaster.

Over to him now I have done my bit.

For the Seamaster Omega Boutiques like to cap it at 5% and or maybe an alternative strap and deployment. Aurum Group can be pushed to 10%. Independents likely to be the best source of discount before going grey.

I do value the service from my OB and they help me get the desirable LE stuff so sometimes it is worth looking beyond the maximum discount.
