I ordered from them the blue version of it for my 2535.80 Bond GMT:

They should be able to do one with a stitch color similar to your 3592 lume plots

Congratulations, Dan. Nice to see you found one that ticked all the boxes, especially the cost one!
Nothing like getting a watch you like, at a great price. Win-win. I hope it brings you much enjoyment.

Re: Any 3592.50 Owners and Speedmaster Experts Help!!

Cheers Ade!! This one was several months in the making. I knew I wanted an Omega Speedmaster, but there are so many references that I was paralysed by choice.
Cue several months of reading all the information I could find, especially all the super content from @rjbroer and the team @fratellowatches and their weekly #speedytuesday posts and I was weighed down with even more options. I debated trying to buy a birth year reference (1976 seems a tough year to find!) , buying a pre owned ST1, a modern Speedy with hesalite and steel case back and a FOIS (sapphire crystal ended that.) Chance would have it that Francisco aka fskywalker posted an incoming on here which piqued my interest and then Bas from @basandlokes watch straps owned a 3592.50 also. It had a hesalite crystal AND a sapphire caseback AND the movement was a beautiful golden gilt colour. She wrote an article on her blog which Iíve read too many times!! 😂 I was sold!

Finding one was another thing. Not many available, usually in the Far East or the US and the prices were quite high £3500 - £4800. Then I saw one on eBay, I asked a few sources their opinions and when they came back positive I did my bidding. 125 people were watching and 15 bidders and I won!! I got the watch for a steal too!
I present to you my 3592.50 from 1995.❤️

I find the huge selection of different reference numbers quite bewildering! In all fairness, when 'we' are looking for that certain 'something' the choice available can become rather overwhelming.
Your patience certainly seems to have paid off though. It looks like you found the 'vintage' piece you were searching for. However, the 'thing' with this watch fetish is that it never seems to take long for before something else seems to 'wet' our appetite!
Then, the whole saga starts over again!

In terms of the Speedmaster I totally agree! The rich history is astounding. The more I read the more I become entrenched. I thought the Submariner had history but the Speedmaster trumps it. Iím going to buy the ďMoonwatch OnlyĒ book as itís an amazing reference and Iím sure itíll lead to my next piece which Iím thinking will be a 60ís reference.

Watch fetish!! Almost as bad as my sole fetish!!

Well Dan buy then the Moonwatch Only book, but beware your wallet will suffer!

Add then the A Journey Through Time (AJTT) and your journey to the Dark Side will be complete! :)

Thanks for your reply. I actually went with a little blind faith and won the auction!! I got it for an amazing price too compared to all the others Iíve seen listed.

Iím not a bracelet guy so Iím not fussed. Itís currently on a Cincystrapworks NATO which looks fine until I choose some others to buy.

Loving it so much. The lemon patina is exquisite. The gilt movement is stunning too. Condition wise itís great for a watch thatís 24 years old. A few tiny dings in the bezel and some super light scratches on the hesalite (wonít buff them as it adds character)

So happy I went with this reference.

Dan, congratulations. I’ve been off line the past few days and so I missed this thread. Wonderful acquisition. How’s it running? You thinking about getting it serviced at some point? Mine is about -5 so it’s okay for now, but I definitely plan on getting it serviced sometime later this year or early next.
    All the best. Paul.

Hi Paul, I donít know how I missed your reply. Itís was magnetised and the boutique demagnetised it for free. It is still however gaining over a minute in 24 hours. Iíll get it serviced in the next few months I guess. A bit of a bummer, but I got it for a great price so Iíll still be up after factoring the service
