It's gotta be the Skyfall, Dan. The verrical teak dial and the framed date aperture are great, but Skyfall Blue is unbeatable.

Best of luck with your decision!

Seems to me the one you had, but sold is still singing loudest to you. You have proved in the past you have the patience and determination to hunt down the one you really want (is it too harsh to say at the time?) so I would say do that rather than settle for a second choice and then just sell it on quite quickly. Good luck with your decision.

I've looked at that listing and messaged the seller back and forth asking for higher res photos, before i bought my current Skyfall.
Something about that listing just seems off to me. The clasp for one does not look to be in NOS condition and the inner of the box looks rather dirty?
The seller said he'd send high resolution photos, but never did.

WF&Co listing for the 2013 Skyfall below. They are certified Omega service center, so you're pretty much guaranteed a 9.5/10 condition watch when buying non-vintage from them.

I've just woken to your message and gone on WF and it's the 41.5mm version Not to worry. I'll keep searching for the elusive 38.5mm. Thanks though.

Watchfinder currently have a 2013 38.5mm Skyfall complete set for £3300 on their website. However, a friend of mine recently purchased a 2014 Skyfall from WF and they let him take it for £2900 no questions asked. Haggle and see what they're willing to part with it for?
They do seem relatively popular as four have gone from C24 in December alone.

Could not agree, more. Not sure why, but the vertical looks so much better than the horizontal.

I saw that on eBay yesterday. The whole advert stinks to high heaven. Will avoid.

Yep I enjoy the hunt for sure I came on here knowing you chaps would help give me that extra clarity on things going forward. I had no idea how much of a unicorn the 38.5mm version is. Typical!

My mistake! Sorry if I got your hopes up. They did have two 38.5's only recently, of which a friend of mine bought the one. Was convinced they still had the other one and got carried away and didn't check the ref. before posting. Poor form on my behalf.
One will pop up though, and the hunt makes getting a good example so much sweeter. Good luck!
