At first I feel like I like this watch--then I feel bad about liking this watch!

I think I still prefer my Skyfall AT. No 007 markings, but still has a connection to the movies. And looks damn good!

    Cheers!
Your Skyfall AT crushes this. A stunning piece.

I'm obviously missing something here, clearly.
What is that, Is that the NATO that it will be sold with, looks like someone's gran knitted it? It just doesn't even come close to the aesthetics of the SPECTRE 300 or the absolute timeless class of the Casino/Quantum 2500.
I'm open to be wrong, and that it will be mind blowing in person, but I will be very surprised.

I like it. However I think the Spectre model is less overwrought with design ideas and more balanced.

I usually have no issue with Fauxtina...but Fauxtina on applied indices looks a bit weird to me, better if they were painted.

The mesh bracelet is a nice option, but I feel this being a SMP a matching titanium bracelet should be offered.

Also very hard to see this to be an appropriate look under a tuxedo (despite debates that's been done to death), while all the other Bond watches can seem to do double-duty.

Overall very nice but not blown away. Can't wait to see what special function its got in the movie!

It's nice enough, but for the price increase you're getting a worse watch overall. Having aluminum instead of ceramic, while it might look cool, is undoubtedly worse. They could've gone with a matte ceramic. Then they get rid of the display back, which is fine, but they don't even update it with a new hippocampus or anything, just a boring caseback.

They ditch the gorgeous bracelet and offer the Milanese, which while looking decent is very clearly another downgrade.

Titanium is cool, but when other features are worse than the standard Seamaster, that price hike is ludicrous.

Also for everyone happy that they didn't have Bond branding all over, they've never had Bond branding on their film watches, I'm not sure why so many people are so relieved. They always release some sort of Bond edition alongside the actual film worn watch. Having branding on the film version would be like the cars having the title of the film plastered on the side. Of course they're not going to do that.

I really like the color scheme going on here. I actually think this is the nicest looking of all the Seamaster color combos. Love this vintage esthetic.

The problem here is that the size of the new Seamasters is not vintage. The move to 42mm makes them look massive on the wrist in so many photos I've seen. The size being what it is just doesn't give off the right vintage vibe no matter how domed the crystal is or how much faux patina they add to it.

I really like the domed crystal they added, looks like an original Hesalite, you can really notice the distortions.

I agree with all this (except that I like the Milanese), and yet still crave this watch. People here are complaining about the fauxtina, but this is clearly a tan color. To me it all works, but the price is insane, compared with what else is out there in the same range.

Agreed it is more of a tan color. I guess they are going for a military desert tan type watch. Doesn’t that symbol at 6 reference military also?

I can’t see it wearing well with much. For that price I want something that can be worn with anything. I guess only Bond is cool enough to pull this off! Perhaps he drives a Toyota Tundra they make in the desert tan color in No Time to Die (which looks awesome!)...
