Excellent Omega Service - Boston Area - "The Watchmaker"

Having purchased a black bezel for my PO, and after conferring with our esteemed moderator, watch-man7777, I decided to take the bezel to "The Watchmaker" in Stoneham, MA to do the change. I am very pleased.

The company president, David Kurdzionak, did the change in literally no time at all, and the new bezel even fits tighter than the one installed by Omega. Great work! I also got to speak with David for a few minutes, who advised that like otto frei, he can order Omega OEM parts, too. David is a very nice individual, who certainly knows his business. It's a small shop, and even on an early Saturday morning the place was busy with customers - always a good sign, so do plan accordingly if you are going to stop by. It may even help to call ahead.

(BTW: the replacement bezel was ordered from otto frei, who as well provided exemplary customer service.)

Here's the information should anyone in the Boston Metro area require service:

    The Watchmaker
    379 Main Street
    Stoneham, MA 02108
    (781) 438-6977

They also accept repair work via mail.

Good to hear that the change was quick and painless, like owning both models now!

    Nice!

I don't visit Boston very often, but nice to hear there are some great watch repair shops.

    Kind Regards,
    Ilham

True enough - but after over two years of orange, think I'll stick with the black for a while.

And, yes, it's reassuring to know of a knowledgeable repair shop that is local!

I live about 15 minutes from there, had them do a battery change/service on my wife's Tag Heuer Link...seemed like nice people though they used to be Omega dealers and unfortunately aren't any longer.

Very nice people, and I did not know that they used to be an Omega dealer. Although I had to drive from South of Boston (East Bridgewater) to get there, it was well worth the time and effort.

That's hilarious because I was just there this morning dropping off my SMP 2254.50 because it is way out of spec. Great guys.
Focus on what you want to happen, not what has happened.
