    FLIGHTMASTER: FINALLY I GOT IT

In 1975 I was 13 years old and my father had given me his old VENUS watch to wear. I was already appreciating mechanical watches and I really liked it.
One day my -very rich- classmate came to school wearing an Omega Flightmaster… That was it. I was sooooo impressed by the watch that I really got hooked up to its style.
Years and years passed, watches and other watches were added to my collection but not one of my "first love" kind.
So last week, when I luckily came across a beautiful piece, I did not hesitate even for a moment. I immediately put it in my wrist and it felt like it belongs there. Very nice feeling indeed.
Now it can take its place next to its cousin, my Speedmaster Moonwatch ref. 35905000
    An old dream came true.

Wow!! I love reading stories like this. I too waited a very long time to acquire a watch that I fell in love with as a youngster. The Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch.

Congratulations on not giving up and finally making a dream come true.

Enjoy it in the very best of health.

Re: FLIGHTMASTER: FINALLY I GOT IT

Two things I know about someone who wears such a watch:
    1. He knows 'his' watches.
    2. He's pretty cool.
    Congratulations.
