The clasp was designed and is sold with the new Speedmaster MK2. The bracelet of the MK2 did not look that much different and the whole impression of the combination looks somewhat natural to me....

Re: Half link for the new speedmaster professional

omegaforums I purchased 115ST1610 half link from AD that of course didn't work.

I found another thread on that forum and one of the posts suggests that current Speedmaster Moonphase has half links, that potentially might work. I couldn't find a direct comparison of these watches, but bracelets look kind of similar. If anyone has tried Moonphase half links or knows more about compatibility with moonwatch bracelet I will really appreciate any feedback.

    Thanks

Sorry for resurrecting the old thread, I thought it's better than create a new one. I am a new owner of the latest Speedmaster Ref. 311.30.42.30.01.005 and after reading a thread on omegaforums I purchased 115ST1610 half link from AD that of course didn't work.

The current moonphase has a 21 mm lugsize.

There's one way to add a half link: get a X33 skywalker Ti 1/2 link.

    117STZ001154 (clasp) 1x

    118ST1589 - 2x

I am personally using this combination with my speedy for last one month. It's the best value for money spent for a Moonwatch IMO.
And both links and the 6 position adjustable clasp cost me less than $200!
It goes very well with the rest of the bracelet and way too comfortable for a watch that I like to wear more often now.
You can't buy love; but you pay heavily for it.

Thanks for the reply. I checked one on the Omega web site and seems like it ha s titanium bracelet that might not be a good match for stainless bracelet

Thanks for the reply. I am looking more and more on this option, but really wanted to keep the original clasp.

I plan to visit local machining shop on Mon and see if they can do a thread in 115ST1610 links, if they can’t I ll probably give up and get adjustable clasp.

Clasp is similar except "professional" word is not there but you get a so much comfortable bracelet for a tool watch that this Moonwatch is all about indeed.
    Good luck for your search.

I agree adjustable clasp is a better choice. It does improve comfort on the wrist by leaps and bounds.

Mine is a little special as it has the 007 inscription
