    Yes, I have an aqua terra that runs a few seconds if shaken then stops dead, has been fully hand wound etc.
    (BTW, It says I cant vote in the poll, maybe because Im a new member.)
    Also, would love to know if there are any fixes for this that dont involve giving Omega 500 pounds sterling!

    This poll is 10 years old.

    This is a known issue and there is a fix that seems to work fine. I’ve had it done to two of my 2500c based Planet Oceans.

    Assume you have a 2500 based Aqua Terra? What year? How long have you had it and has it ever been serviced?

    Re: Has your Co-Axial equipped Omega stopped unexpectedly?

    Sorry to hear

    If one of my watches ever did such a thing as stop with no reasonable cause (dead battery or low power reserve or overdue maintenance) it would be dead to me. I would not wear it again.

    Reliability to me is paramount and I love systems that are over engineered with durability/reliability in mind and/or are time tested like Seiko 7S26 or ETA 2824 or Rolex 3130 (or variant) or G shocks.

    Omega did use the co axial movement in their Omega’s new Ultra Light sports watch. I imagine they are confident in its reliability, however the movement is redesigned with a lot of bridges

    Seems like my 15 months old Racing 9900 failed on my wrist...just stoped and it is dead. Trying to wound it, it feels a resistance and clicks can be heard;
    Any idea what could it be?

    PS. As much as I was in loved with Omega, now I am pretty dissapointed, especialy reading how many co-axials are faulty. It is true that anyrhing can break, but in this case are to many...and lets not forget that we are talking about what is it said to be one of the best movement technology and innovation on the market. 7700€ retail price watch dropped dead in 15 months...very said
