Should’ve kept it in the 42mm asymmetric case. I would’ve bought one then.

I guess those that "missed out" will have to wait 15 minutes for the next Limited Edition to be released.

Re: Hodinkee 10th Anniversary LE Speedmaster

Does anyone know how many times they have produced a limited edition with 500 watches? I've seen some of the other limited editions were numbered for the year of the commemoration, so 1971, 1969, etc. etc. Does that mean 500 is a lower number than other limited edition speedy's? I understand 500 isn't necessarily a small number...but in the scheme of things and how many people there are in the world... it is a low number for something like this, right?

Rather meh if you ask me. Don't see the value over a traditional Moonwatch for half the price. But hey, strokes, folks and all that

Putting aside the "ugh another Omega limited edition," I love it. I tried purchasing about 10 minutes after launch but was told they were sold out. My wallet is thankful, I guess.

Thanx for that, I just read the Omega release and didn't go to the Hodinkee site. I really like it, but really do not like advertising for Hodinkee! Granted, it is on the back, so I have to see it everytime I put it on or take it off.

Aluminum bezel... what the hell is up with that? Is this a throwback to the vintage?

Don't be effing around... get the Patek and be done!!

You think I'm condescending...?? Do you even know what that means... ??

Looking at the comments on Hodinkee, everyone was raving about it. I really don't get it. At least I'm down to a mild "meh" from my initial "ugh!", lol. That's just me though. It certainly has that retro vibe to it, but we'll see how that wears over time.

Without the triple-date function, this watch makes no sense.

    Hodinkee 10th Anniversary LE Speedmaster

Just when I was starting to feel special, Omega releases another Special Edition and makes me feel unspecial again. Still holding out for the Archie Luxury edition.

On a more serious note, I like the colors but don't really care for the numerals. They should bring back the Flightmaster with a similar color scheme and an automatic movement.
