I turned my Seamaster into a Fitnesstracker/Smartwatch

Being a watch nerd and a tech writer I’ve combined my Seamaster with a Fitbit. I’m still surprised how well it fits and works.

Did anyone come up with a similar idea or even a better one? IWC and Montblanc are building similar straps. I’d never give up my Omegas for a Smartwatch. But I might buy a really nice and useful smart strap for them one day. Maybe even from Omega...

Very impressive! I am a tech nerd myself but no Apple Watch is taking place of my Omegas. This however, a strap system with tech built in. I would definitely consider. Would love to see some purpose built examples.

Definitely stealing this idea. I've gone through three Charge HRs. Have to be so gentle with these things - good thing there's a good warranty.
