    Joining the Aqua Terra Club

So one leisurely stroll turned into a money spending stroll

I was visiting my local watch dealer to have one of my bracelets resized, not because I cant do it myself, but this one seems to be very stubborn. So not wanting to damage anything I went to my dealer for a quick fix

While waiting, as always, I got looking around and right in the corner, I see this Two Tone Rose Gold AquaTerra 39mm sitting in the shelf, exact ref is 2303.30.00

I think its priced at quite a bargain (correct me if Im wrong), its only at $1500ish in USD

Curious, I asked about it and turns out there is a catch that there is no box or paper that comes with it. However, due to this is my long standing reputable dealer, I gave no doubts. I bargained abit, and here I am today

Truthfully, Im very happy with the watch, I own quite a few Rolexes and some odd brands here and there, but this Omega strikes me very pleasing, and of course, bonus is I dont have a rose gold watch yet

The dial is white, but not so, its kind of pearlascent, but silverish at the same time, it just changes when light catches it

The rose gold is what strikes me most, its not as pink as Rolex's that I find a bit too much, but definitive enough to set it apart from yellowgold

Case size at 39mm is a great balance, but at times I do find the dial is sometimes abit vacant, I would be happier if they had a bit more detail in there, but at times, during wearing a strap, I prefer the cleaniless of the dial as it becomes very clean

I got the 2500c calibre version, and I find theres quite a ruckus regarding the calibre discussion. But due to the nature that this purchase comes with a 1 year dealer warranty, I dont really care that much honestly

The only gripe, Aqua terra, like my day date, and like a few speedmasters, they dont have a microadjustment buckle. I swear I could kill whoever design it, its very hugging when I wear it, but if I add a halflink it becomes looser than I would like. I could I suppose take 1 full link and add 2 half links, but such a bother!

To be honest, I find the pre-owned value of these aqua terras are really bad, (good for me, though), not sure Im lucky, but boy - they are are really under appreciated

Here comes the slew of pics, also with numerous straps that I have

Whoever said Speedmasters are the watch that looks great on any strap, should take a look at these

Congratulations on a great pick up!

You seem to have a choice of straps sorted too - enjoy.

One hell of a pick up!! What a bargain! One of those should be costing almost double that!! Looks great and a real strap monster to boot. Enjoy in great health.

Never been much of a two-tone guy, but those stap combos look amazing, and the watch was a killer price. Congrats!

Wow, so many different watches by simply swapping the strap.

Congrats on a great pick up.

Very nice Omega. This is one reference that you won't bump into as often as others I would guess. You seem to have plenty of shoes for it as well. Enjoy.

Thanks guys, now I guess I did get a good price for it. Yes I would agree I rarely bump into one especially locally on preowned market, hence didnt want to miss out and just made the impulse buy!
