Thanks! I have actually always wanted to see one if those in the metal! I am curious how the dial color compares. I also absolutely agree that it is an underrated piece, but I think the Skyfall brought it a lot of attention. Great looking piece!
Thank you for the pictures and review. I am actually torn between the horizontal and Vertical models. Have been looking at the AT 41 in blue for a while and this is my next watch for sure, just need to find a pre owned in good condition here in Europe.

What a beautiful watch. Congratulations! Regarding your crown, you should get it looked at by your ADs watchmaker just to make sure it's all good.
    Enjoy!

Thanks! I really appreciate it. I feel that when it comes to style, the vertical and horizontal are hard to choose between, but the 6 o’clock date window on the horizontal seals the deal.

Nice write up and great photos, actually. If I can ever convince myself to pay this much for a watch, the 38 AT in blue is it.

Until then, I’ll enjoy the nicest blue sunburst dial south of $1000:

I believe that the horizontal teak blue is a bit lighter. The old one went to full black whereas the new one seems to stay blue longer, even if rather muted. Would you agree? I’ve only seen it in photos and in the weird lighting of an Omega boutique.

Halios is gorgeous. I was lucky enough to be chosen to order the bronze version from the most recent release.

I hope they deliver as expected.

I would agree. The blueness isn't light dependent. I do appreciate dials that require some direct light though...Name: 20190918_225650_1568993557615.jpg

Beautiful pics and excellent write-up, thank you..

I love the AT series..recently got an ATAC and I can completely understand the reluctance of taking it off at all, even for bed

    Wear it in good health!

p.s I feel it wears best on bracelet but still can't help myself trying on straps..here's mine today:

    1000000%

The date window at 6 is the best date design for a watch’s dial symmetry. I was introduced to it on my first Oris purchase. Now I’m spoiled and want the date at 6 on everything!!
