Just picked up a TT Seamaster Diver

When these first came out I wasn’t too sure about them from the pictures. But they look way better in person. I have it on a spare temp strap while i wait to have a custom one made. But why does omega feel the need to tell you what material they’re using. 🙄🙄

I just know that they put au750 marking on the bezel lol. Well, i think even ap and patek put the marking on their precious metal watches as well. To show that they use solid gold for the whole thing instead of plating. We know it, but common people might think its just plating
Congrats btw, my heart skip when saw it in the flesh. Just couldn't afford the TT one. Black and sedna gold is a very nice if not the best combo for sure

This and the titanium version drools me over. I actually just bought the 2264 poor man's version and gonna out it on rubber hahaha...

    Congrats man, its awesome

On a side note, precious metals are mostly always stamped, but noting its stainless steel is new to me, I never seen one before and tbh its borderline hillarious hahaha

I have a tendency to pick up watches in pairs so I also got the blue version. I really went full circle. Had various SMP bond versions from the painted to the applied indices, then the ceramic versions. Didn’t think I would get the current version because didn’t like the pictures when they were introduced. Went through various Tudor Pelagos and Black Bays and now back to the SMPf or my “beater”watches. Tbh the Omega is just more refined when compared to the Tudors. I wrote in another thread that I couldn’t get past the how high the case looked on the wrist because of the lug hole placement. I’ve got a custom black strap with gold stitching for the black TT on order and a Tan with navy stitching for the blue TT Seamaster Diver. Hopefully those will turn out good.

Amazing, the only thing I buy in pairs are my shoes!

    Wonderful buy, white one next?

For me white watches are hard for me to match up unless I’m dressed up. I spend most of my time in tropical climates and my customers are all jeans and polo shirt types. . I will say though I don’t think I could get used to the grey/silver dial Semasters... even live those don’t do anything for me. The blue dial to me only looks good with gold. I guess that’s why Omega makes a so many different color ones... there’s one for everybody

    Beautiful watch! Congrats!

I have the TT YG on bracelet and it does have a certain charm and versatility. As another watch buddy told me recently, "It can do it all".

Straps came in. Not crazy about that yellow stitching but I go through lot of strap combos to find one I like so it’s trial and error for me.

The blue and gold looks really good! A little more "out there" than the black and gold. Enjoy them both in great health.
