For me it is. My wrist size varies pretty dramatically depending on activity. Every bracelet without quick adjustment options lacks comfort and fit. With the large claps the perfect fit is always only 3 seconds away. Not even neccessary to take it off. Love it!

Microadjustment Clasp for the new Moonwatch bracelet?

It is a game changer. Although this recommendation to use the adjustable clasp for the Moonwatch has already appeared in many posts previously, the point of my original post is the compatibility of my bracelet with the clasps since it turned out that Omega keeps on changing bracelets for the Moonwatch and the old posts on this topic refers to the older version of the bracelet.

Fortunately, even this 2019 bracelet still fits perfect for the clasps/end-links set mentioned above.

I'm also a big fan of this clasp on my 2016 Sapphire Sandwich with the screw bracelet. It's a huge improvement for those of us who need daily adjustments.

Markings on the modern bracelet are a bit misleading, compared to older bracelets, which were marked with the bracelet/end link PNs on the clasp, like the 1958/957. Mine is marked like this:

Clasp: STZ004194 (this is apparently the clasp PN only, not the bracelet PN - some people list the entire bracelet with this PN)
6:00 end of the bracelet: STZ004195 (this is this half of the bracelet)
12:00 end of the bracelet: STZ004196 (the other half of the bracelet)
Actual bracelet PN: 020STZ004193, per a previous post by Al

So, there are 3 quick-adjust clasps available, for those interested in this mod:
117STZ001154 - 6 position adjustment, the most common one, shown above
    117STZ004666 - 3 position adjustment, smaller than the 1154
117STZ001159 - 6 position adjustment with dive extension

As posted above, it requires 2 of the 118ST1589 clasp end links and the hardware to connect it all.
These come with the clasp end links, but these are the PNs if anyone needs them:
    128ST0166 - Pin - 2 ea
    124ST3307 - Screws - 4 ea

So glad I found this. In the process of picking up the clasp and end links.

Should I attempt the swap myself, is there anything I need besides a 1.8mm flathead as referenced above? I’ll need to pick up the screwdriver (let me know if you have any recommendations). What’s the best way to loosen the loctite?

I just used the Wiha 96018 purchased from Amazon. Works and fit perfect and no need to worry about the stiffness or loctite.
