A gold faced model as a tribute to the Seiko Pogue?

They love to screw the value of the brand by issuing gazillion “limited “ editions When will they learn to go the Rolex or Patek way ????

Bringing back the 321 movement would be pretty sweet...

Never I hope. The Rolex and Patek way are stupid, annoying and shortsighted. I'd like to see a backlash against their strategies in the marketplace, but too many people with too much available money for that to happen.

I was just referring only to the fact they aren’t churning out a million variations of the same piece, that for me downgrades the brand just as Hublot and I Iove Omega ....I agree, on the other brand their marketing strategy sucks , but that’s another thing...

I was recently in the market for a new watch. To be honest it was either a Rolex SS sports model or an Omega.
Local AD's had NO Rolex Sports models in stock and being put on a waiting list felt patronising. (if I'm lucky and patient Rolex may let me buy one of their sports models)
So, what did I do? I purchased TWO cracking Omega models!!!! (and spent no more money)

I could stop buying watches, but I'm no quitter.

Rolex Submariner Ceramic ND 114060. Grand Seiko SBGN001G GMT. Omega Aqua Terra 8500. Omega Planet Ocean 8800. Omega Speedmaster 1863.

    Casio MRG-8100B-1AJF. Casio MRG-7600-1AJF. Casio MRG-7700-1AJF. Casio GMW-B5000-1ER. Casio GMW-B5000TB-1ER. Casio GW-5000-1AJF.

If I really want a SS Rolex I would have bought a second hand piece...

Hey GT, I never realised you owned one of these beauties?
What made to move it on? Stunning piece, I love it.

Wore a little small but most importantly I didn’t like how easily scratched the brushed grade 2 Ti was. It was so soft and it worried me about the longevity of the watch. It’s a beauty and I feel like a dummy selling it. Took a big loss too.
