What... I don't get it... there are like 6mm (quarter inch) of adjustment in my Speedy bracelet. On hot days, like lately, in the triple digits... it's pretty nice! Adjustable, not stamped, screwed... I don't get it. Quality all the way and I would hope so for like $1000!

The clasp in your photo is great, but it's not from the Speedy Pro. But a clasp like that should come standard with a Speedy Pro.

What irks me the most is that Omega *reduced* adjustability on the current bracelet by eliminating the half-link. It just doesn't exist for the current bracelet. Idiotic.

For the very new bracelet on the Racing and Moonphase they did bring the half links back.

I have both versions I may try to see if the half link from the Racing will fit the standard screw bracelet. I would like to add a half link to mine.

I'd like to see one that retains current dimensions and specs but adds a manually wound master chronometer movement and a lumed bezel like the Mark II reissue. That would be amazing. :)

Hopefully that means there are actual improvements to the watch and not just a bigger box.

With modern tooling it should be possible to reproduce the column wheel 321 movement used in the 105.012 and 145.012 Speedmasters that took part in the Apollo moon landings.
And apparently that's exactly what Omega did. Pretty accurate prediction, if I may say so myself...

    Re: Moonwatch update in 2019?

FWIW I stopped in to the Omega boutique near me last week 2/12/20 looking at and closer to buying the moonwatch/hesalite. Asking about the un-adjustability of the bracelet he said wait until summer (2020) and there will be an updated same model new version with a more adjustable tapered bracelet and a few? movement tweeks. I'm on board with this and waiting. A slightly larger winding crown would be nice too.
I'll be stopping in more now to keep in closer touch..
