    My 1958 Omega Seamaster

Going to be selling this to a buyer who is going to restore it. From the previous owner it has a couple of cracked bridges. Still works perfectly and keeps excellent time. The watchmaker I took it to said it does not need a regulation or servicing at this time except for the crack bridges which are hairline cracks and does not seem to affect timekeeping.

The back had some custom engraving on it but that actually came in handy because it was dated also and the new owner wasn’t sure if it was legitimate or not. I told him I don’t think they made many fake Omega’s in 1958. Plus I knew the previous owner it was her father’s watch since new.

So is this a for sale post? Cracked bridges, cracked crystal, poorly refinished dial and engraving on back? This will be a big$$ restoration effort for limited return.
