Smile my latest flea market find (pics before restoration)

    Hi everyone
Here is my latest flead market find. Pics are before restoration. It is an Omega ref 131.001-62-sc serial number n° 1953 6377. I bought it because I found it sober and elegant. Movement is almost in new condition.

Will give the watch next to my watchmaker for repair

    best regards

    georges

Can't really see the dial. Got pics without the flash?

That number is just the case number, Georges. The watch is from about 1962 and looks like a cal. 286 movement.

mine is not a seamaster but does indeed have baton indexes and hands and is powered by a 286 movement. And my case back is a snap back and not a screwed back, and there is nothing engraved on it.

Great pickup Georges! That movement looks like it is in pristine condition. One day I'd love to find a nice vintage Ω at a flea market.

An ST 131.001! nice catch there Georges. Mind you, the 286, with the flat hairspring and glycadur balance? isn't it all a bit modern?
