    My newest acquisition

Bought this off ebay at sort of the last moment, and I think I got a pretty good deal on it - $1250.

Admittedly, he didn't have the box or papers , and it obviously isn't a new watch but I'm satisfied with it.

And the register hands are all orange... Were they originally red and just faded?

I'm not sure if I'm going to hold on to it though... Since I could probably re-sell it for more than I paid for it, and I've already got a 2531.80, and I might prefer the heavy steel version of the watch or one of the other SMP chronos with a black dial... I dunno.

Also does anyone know the reference number on this one? I'm considering ordering a new bezel from ofrei.

    :thanks

that is a 2599.80 and you did steal it. The markers are supposed to be that color. That is a keeper in my opinion. Just get it touched up.

I believe the reference number is 2298.80. All the register hands look orange in all of the pictures that I have seen of it, so it's probably not faded.

Hahaha, I guess it was a better deal than I thought. Thanks for the congrats and the reference numbers. :thanks

The auction was a bit strange though, I was the only bidder and $1250 was the starting bid.

But the words Chronograph and Titanium didn't have a space between them in the auction title, and the description only had one rather blurry and crappy picture. So it was a bit of a risk, but I think I came out ok.

Congrats- this is how deals are found on eBay - when sellers don't know how to market their items.

Wow, very nice watch sir. You got a hell of a deal. I'd have to agree, that one's a keeper in my book!
