    Need new clasp

    Hi all,

Apologies if this is posted already. I had to have the spring (little metal clip) inside my clasp replaced last year. The clip (spring) that operates the opening of the clasp. I have a 2005 Seamater 2531.80. I am still not really happy with how it works. It's still too soft and easy to push. It doesn't make that familiar "Click" sound when closing.

Does anyone know what the part number is for a new clasp and where I might get one? Or...can I get a new adjustable one that fits?

    Thanks all, appreciate the help.

Might be worth running it into an AD. I had a similar thing with mine and they sorted it while I waited. Its easy to get a bit of sand in the spring so it doesnt lock properly. Worth a shot before spending a ton of money on a new clasp. Best of luck sorting it out

    Hi thx67,

Thanks. Will visit a local AD today to see if they can help. Luckily I work close to a newly opened AD.
