    Omega 117STZ001154 Clasp

So I've gotten fed up enough with my Speedy Pro's original bracelet fit and have decided to replace the clasp. I did some research and found that the 117STZ001154 (six-microadjust) clasp and 2x 118ST1589 links are the pieces I need. The clasp in a video dated mid-2018 cost the producer $110, with the links at $50 a pop. I called a jeweler and emailed my local Omega boutique and have been quoted $240 for the clasp from both places. Links still $50. Has anyone gotten the 1154 clasp recently at a better price than $240-- over double the price from 2018?

Mine all in for clasp, extra links and more screws was under $200. And they installed it for me once it all came in. On the other hand, a different boutique in town refused to even consider ordering the parts for more. Maybe try another boutique? Amazon has them for that price. That being said, I would easily have paid more it is that good. You do have to remove the bracelet from your wrist, but it is a great addition. Good luck.

I've done the same mod to all my Omegas - a PO, Speedy Pro and a SMP. Best upgrade ever, total game changer for all-year, all-day comfort.

Did that clasp run you $240 also?

Wow that's great. I would have done this yesterday if my boutique offered me this. When did you have yours done? Also did you buy your Speedy from that boutique?

From memory it was about 130 or so, but that's GBP not USD. I'd need to dig out a bank statement from a while back to check.

They also set it all up for me, although not fully installed (I just needed to put in the final couple of screws) as technically they're not allowed to modify watches to non-factory standards.

Back in November. This is on an older 2264 sword hands Seamaster, but with a "Speedy" bracelet. Some (most?) of the older versions had the pin/collar type connections. If yours is screwed together, I believe it is a bit easier. swisswatchspares.com will have everything you need, although it is from Europe and more $$.

Apparently Omega raised the prices recently on the clasps. Recently bought the 3 position / smaller size version clasp (STZ-004666) and paid $107 plus tax at my boutique; price of it used to be about $61 plus tax before:

1589 end links are still $50 each

Once you install the adjustable clasp, you'll be completely spoiled. You'll wish all watches had it.

My AD charged $220 for everything, including installation. Best thing you can do for your Speedmaster!

Hotel Clerk: Do you have seventeen dollars and a good watch?
Del: No I don't. I have uh... two dollars... and a Casio.
