Play on Seamaster 300 Titanium bezel

    Hello,

I bought a brand new Omega 300 Titanium watch from Chrono24.
The watch looks great and overall the quality is high - but there's a thing I'm concerned about:

When I turn the bezel counterclockwise it clicks...but when I stop at a position I'm also able to turn it 1/2 a position without clicking. I.E: the bezel has +1/2 position (counterclockwise) / -0.0 (clockwise) rotational play.

    Is this normal ?

No. Sounds like the bezel clickspring needs to be replaced. I had a problem with my SM300 Ti's bezel as well where it would allow you to turn it clockwise (it's supposed to be unidirectional). Took it to the Omega Boutique with my warranty card, they ordered the part, took a week to deliver, and it was replaced the same day it arrived. No problems since. Bezel is tight with no play.

    Thanks 6R15,
This is a brand new watch...I want to be 100% sure something's wrong with it before I send it for repair.
Is there a way to upload a video to this forum ?

That looks to be normal, though mine seems slightly tighter than yours. I thought you meant it would let you rotate the bezel clockwise a little bit after a click.

The blue really pops in your video. How are you finding the 300 after owning it for a while?

    Thanks,
    6R15

I think the bezel action on yours is much better.
On my watch it clicks crisper and with much less back-play (and also horizontal displacement movement).

I can make mine behave like yours but for this I must firmly push the bezel perpendicularly and then rotate.
As if the bezel is seating a little high...

It's pretty sweet. The accuracy is great too at +2 s/d. My only complaint is the bracelet looking too wide for the watch. It should taper more, somewhere around 21mm-->17mmm with an 18mm buckle, similar to Rolex's 20mm-->16mm with an 18mm buckle.

The blue really pops when it's under direct sunlight. Otherwise, it looks like a dark navy blue all the other time :(
