    PO 8500 - 9 to 10pm issue

Hi guys, need some help. Just noticed my 850O PO now has an issue with switching between 2100 and 2200hrs in the evening. The hour hand seems to get stuck and cannot move to the next hour. Used the winder moving forward by hour hand only works fine. But moving the time forward using the minute hand recreates the problem (the normal way time would advance). Checked if same issue occurs at 0900 - 1000hrs am and it does not, it works fine so seems linked to pm only.

Any ideas or anyone had this issue before. Only started happening last night very weird.

    Cheers

It's a known fact. Send it to your local customer service, it'll be free of charge.

Anyone know what year and models this issue affects?

I have this model PO 600M Model # 232.30.42.21.01.003. Is it affected by this issue?

A trip to one of the local boutiques to enquire sounds in order. Hope you get it sorted.

Failure of the hour wheel. Not an uncommon thing, and can be related to the amount you use the quick hour adjust function.

It's possible that any watch with the quick adjust hour function can have this problem, and again it's related to how much you use that function.

Thanks for the advice and feedback. I do a fair amount of business travel so use the function probably more than most so makes sense. I will drop it into my repairer for a fix/ repair.

    Cheers

Thanks for this info. I’ll be weary about using that function too much. Didn’t realize that could be a problem.
