Write a letter but I agree don’t let this upset you I bet you wouldn’t be able to see the scratch and it’s hidden.
Ok but maybe I’d be really pissed too and I’d push for a case replacement.
I've included another picture of the groove.
Omega hasn't clarify how they'll polish it. The customer care representatives are not very helpful.
Wow can’t believe it

In the end it's a 150 gram steel manufactured product that cost around $4k. I would expect two things at a minimum:
- the same customer service/marketing you got while you were being sold on the watch, in the same confident language and tone found on their website - the Omega experience you paid for.
- Assurance that what whatever fix they choose, evidence of any problem will be gone.

I could stop buying watches, but I'm no quitter.
Rolex Submariner Ceramic ND 114060.
Grand Seiko SBGN001G GMT.
Omega Aqua Terra 8500.
Omega Planet Ocean 8800.
Omega Speedmaster 1863.
if you have the energy for it, I'd suggest trying for a middle case replacement, that they might accept.
you can also accept their offer, I have seen miracles performed, and, if unhappy with the result, go from there to push them further,
draw the line at a satisfying result and not the means of achieving it, it will take time, but it's more likely to get you what you want.
Update: I called again and now they’re saying they’ll replace the case.
