No idea but wondering what exactly are you looking for?

Write a letter but I agree don’t let this upset you I bet you wouldn’t be able to see the scratch and it’s hidden.

Ok but maybe I’d be really pissed too and I’d push for a case replacement.

    Write letters!!

You want a new watch? Not going to happen.

I suggest you stop wasting time and move on. If you cannot live with the watch, sell it and buy something else.

Are they confident that polishing the case will remedy that deep groove? I wouldn’t think the polish will make it “new”

I've included another picture of the groove.

Omega hasn't clarify how they'll polish it. The customer care representatives are not very helpful.

In the end it's a 150 gram steel manufactured product that cost around $4k. I would expect two things at a minimum:

    - the same customer service/marketing you got while you were being sold on the watch, in the same confident language and tone found on their website - the Omega experience you paid for.

    - Assurance that what whatever fix they choose, evidence of any problem will be gone.

Well, when it's magnified that much, it's going to look bad!
On a more serious note, how many watch repairers treat customers watches are carefully as they would treat their own watch?

I agree on not troubling yourself with trying for a new watch, it simply won't happen,
if you have the energy for it, I'd suggest trying for a middle case replacement, that they might accept.
you can also accept their offer, I have seen miracles performed, and, if unhappy with the result, go from there to push them further,
draw the line at a satisfying result and not the means of achieving it, it will take time, but it's more likely to get you what you want.

Update: I called again and now they’re saying they’ll replace the case.
