    I have my name down for a Tudor Black Bay 58;

    Ouch, just saw the new pricing. Gone up by around 10%!

    Bit of luck, I'll have it by March or April, maybe. This year, though, is more about thinning out the collection a little. I have a few watches that don't get much time on the wrist.

    And, if my saving plan goes well enough, maybe a 1960s vintage Rolex 6694 or 1500 model;

    And then hopefully, I'll never look at any other watches. Man, that sentence was hard to type with my fingers crossed.

    For me, I really, really want to get a Seamaster Diver 300 this year. I'm still on the fence between the blue and black dial options though. Blue is my colour, and would go with the majority of my wardrobe, but the black is just so sharp...

    I wasn’t a fan of the SMP 300 but I have to admit the latest one with ceramic dial looks so good and you can’t go wrong with blue or black. You could probably pick one up preowned for around 5-5.5k AUD nowadays

    Yeah I've been keeping an eye on grey/used prices and they seem to be mostly around the $5.5K mark. Amazing value for a watch that I consider to be on-par with the Submariner, which is selling for north of $12K.

    But with the silly season just passed I still can't afford one right now. Maybe in a few months, but the wait is difficult >.<

    Been eyeing vintage Subs for awhile— either a 1680 or 16800 in decent condition and provenance would be right up my alley.

    I signed up for WPAC so hopefully the answer is none. If I do make a move I will either get a Red Speedy Racing or maybe a 42mm PAM (1392/1535)

    Yes Dan it has, which makes it even less likely in many ways. I very nearly purchased it on the way out of Heathrow in August this year, but didn’t want to spend my holiday with buyers regret and didn’t really worry too much at missing the opportunity. I have seen pictures of the new blue one, but not in the flesh and felt so-so. Michael here owned a black pre-owned for a while, but it wasn’t a keeper for him. However, I enjoyed the new watch buying buzz vicariously (?) with my son this week and it made me tempted again so who knows.

    It's either a sapphire sandwich speedy or jlc polaris chrono in blue. I'm still undecided.
