Amazing in the metal. With another price increase one of those becomes unobtanium for me

I think I was primarily there for moral support, but managed to negotiate nearly 10% discount and made a contribution to the initial payment. He had chosen the Dark Side of the Moon and seems over the moon with the quality and detail. The world is crazy though as I had to wait until 40 to get my first Omega at a fraction of the cost.

That’s quite a piece for a first Omega!! Fair play to him. Will he let dad borrow it?

Yep things seems easier these days. I was 32 when I got my 2254.50 That seems many moons ago!

    Re: Potential 2020 Watch Acquisitions

My acquisition is more addition by subtraction with an eye towards 2021. I need to sell my Damasko now that I've bought the AT to pay for the final portion of that. At some point I want to add a black diver on bracelet that I don't mind beating up. Problem is it has to not have stick indices since all of my watches have that. There are several other picky aspects I want too, and if I can't find anything that meets my criteria in the $500-700 range I may wait and get a black SMPc in 2021 if I can afford it.

The classic would be the route to go and use the extra money saved for a holiday to wear your new 300 on or put it towards something else?
You know me too well.. Haha.. And for me, its weird though that I like the large Omega logo on the Spectre. There is one Spectre I'm eyeing on locally for around £6200. If all goes well, i might go for it. But you do make a good point about paying lesser for a regular SM300 and believe me that thought has crossed my mind more than once... But the Spectre is really drawing me to it. We'll see how it goes.

Well, if I'm honest with myself, it's probably unobtainable for me too. But hey, what's life for, if not to dream?
However, if I kept these two and sold the rest....Hmm.
