    The seller was honest in stating it's redone. The watch hands don't look original.

    Looks like an authentic case and bezel, with a badly repainted dial (maybe fake), wrong hands, and incorrect crown (notice it is too narrow). While the movement is the correct calibre for this watch, the date wheel should be black, not white. This has all the hallmarks of a put-together piece.

    Factoring in the high price the seller is asking for this basket case, a full restoration would cost you more than finding a nice original.
    I'd even be surprised if that was the original movement.

    Yup-And it looks to me that the re-dialer partially used the 1970 SM120 dial as the model for the POOR work done. At this price this SM stinks.
