The bracelet calendar really makes it look very seventies! I really like it! My father had such calendars in those days. However, these were just made of soft aluminum folding around the bracelet.

    Thanks for your comments.

Re: Show us your heirloom watch

not sure if their all "heirloom" but these are the watches that were passed to me by friends and relatives:
1-passed to me by former client, friend and admiral(ret.)USN. He was an avid diver and trained cadets in Conn.academy for 'pre-seal' duty during WW2.:[1969 aquadive]

an oddball uncles bought in CH by grandfather who had a small factory there:[1st 1/4 1964 rlx gmt gilt-dial]

great grandmothers 1904 omega pocket watch re-cased (suppossedly w most auth. omga parts?) by great uncle jeweler sometime between
30s and 50s. This '04 movement still runs consistently at about +20-30 sec pr day:

fathers-found in drawer in past year[longines 18k ultrachron]:

fathers Lord Elgin[yes-I had the corroded dial re-done. not top-notch work but about c+/b-]:

and my favorite because I have many memories of grandfather wearing as a dentist and after he passed my grandmother wearing this until she died at 102:[think its a 'morgan'? its 18k]

My grandmother gave this to my grandfather for his birthday sometime in the early 60s. My dad wore it for a number years after my grandfather died, then passed it along to me.
