Sourcing needed - Crystal of vintage Seamaster 176.007

Oh well! I thought I would keep my hands away from the keyboard, but did it again. After backout on one 176.007, I found another with my prefered blue dial on TZ. Thanks to Harold..

Eric (eptaz), you have a lot to do with this purchase since I saw pictures of your 176.007, it has been haunted me ever since...:-D

The only problem I have is the crystal has small cracks on the side and I'd like very much to find a replacement. Can anyone point me to the source of this crystal please?

    Thanks,
    Mee+NYC

    Hi Rene,
Great to see its brother. I had my eyes on the same dial that you have. Gave up because I prefer the black sub-dial version.
    Here is the seller picture.

Congrats on one of my favorites!

BIG Congrats to you, Mee! Mine's away being serviced, but I still remember that pretty face.

Interestingly, I picked up mine on a whim, because the price was right, but it quickly became a favorite. My first chrono with central minute counter sprouted into a true love affair with the Lemania c.134x and c.5100. I'm sure you're going to love yours, too.

Although, it isn't (or at least wasn't) listed on their site, I called Otto Frei and they ordered one for me. I think I had it in about six weeks.

Here's the back of the package, which may help you when ordering:

Something of at least minor note, is that this is the only hesalite replacement crystal I've seen, which does not have the Omega symbol in the center.

Good luck, enjoy, and be sure to let us know when it arrives!
