And this is the original picture of Aldrin that is laser engraved in gold at 9 subdial.
You can't buy love; but you pay heavily for it.
Terrible Speedmaster imo. So poor an effort. Omega designers are losing the plot

I guess I would say I’m positive on the watch not madly in love with it but I like it I already have a deposit in so I think I’ll go for it.
I would’ve like to see an adjustable clasp but I can live without one.
Some nice aspects as well, don't mind the sub-dial, nice case back, and improved movement. Could have done with a little less gold accents but could have been worse as well.
Still deciding but leaning toward a go.
I have been waiting for this watch for years, and I am quite happy with the design. For those of you complaining about Buzz Aldrin’s butt, that is one of the most iconic images from the Apollo 11 mission, so anyone who loves that history will be thrilled with the image. As far as price, I paid $14K for the original DSOM which was not a limited edition. Yes, I know it’s all ceramic, but with a cordura strap. This watch, with the Cal. 3861, all the special Apollo 11 touches, limited edition, for $9650 USD is a more than reasonable price.
I called my contact at the local Omega Boutique and gave her a full deposit without hesitation.
I’m not a fan of the new limited speedy either, I would have liked it if the 9 sub dial instead of gold was moon dust or a charcoal moon dust color. And the inner main dial be that same moon dust. No gold. I basically took the color out of the release pic and I like it better already.
