    Speedmaster day-date, without paper

    Hello,

I'm looking for a 2nd hand Speedmaster, and I found below offer in a shop in my city:

    https://www.chrono24.com/omega/speed...id10714535.htm

The price seems correct compared to similar offer online, they also give a 2 year warranty.

They sell the watch with box, but without the paper (without the warranty card with serial number). They do have the invoice from Omega.

Would you buy it as there is not paper?

Any though about the watch itself?

Also, what is the expected accuracy for Omega 1151 from 2001?

    Thanks,

EDIT: Thanks to everybody for yours feedbacks! I will go to the shop to check the watch ASAP

Honestly missing papers or books doesn't mean anything. I worked in a store and you wouldn't believe how many customers don't want to take the box with their purchase, mostly because they're tourists visiting and don't have space in their luggage for a watch box.

As for accuracy, even though it's not a COSC movement typically you should still expect it to run at +/- 5 seconds a day.

Paper? Depends on the dealer or watch condition.

Vicc has a good point. I got my SpeedMaster in 1978, new from AD. I was in my teens and never thought anything of keeping box and PPW. I keep it all now, right down to heat-shrink plastic.

I wouldn't be concerned if it doesn't come with papers.

As long as the watch is in good condition and you are happy with the price, then you should be OK.

The 2 year warranty is an added bonus.
