My local AD said that word on the street is the next "Speedy Tuesday" will be before year's end and will be another Alaska project throwback. Not sure if he was just pulling my leg though. I do wonder what they will do next year though to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.

There is another Fratello-Watches & Omega project already in the works, according to what Robert-Jan posted in the FB #SpeedyTuesday Group. Unfortunately we know zip about the details of this second project and have no idea if it is also associated with the Alaska Project. I would be surprised though if they went again with the Alaska Project... But then again, Omega has already celebrated every possible aspect of the Moonwatch several times over so anything goes

Re - 50th Anniversary - maybe precious-metal, maybe the Apollo 11 badge on the dial / caseback, Reverse-reverse-Panda (...) hard to picture it as they've all been done:

In any event, the suspense will be there come Baselworld 2019

p.s. I've always loved the "red line" on the 3569.31 but then again, I've got a thing for red lines...

I’m sure if we put our heads together, we could come up with something they haven’t celebrated...

The first one wasn't a Basel release it was unleashed on Instagram with some subtle hints prior that something was going to happen. Have you heard different?

Sorry, I was referring to next year's 50th and not the so-called "ST2"
News of the ST2 will almost certainly reach us via the 'Net much like the ST1 did
I'm not sure they will do another "online reservation" given some of the concerns that were raised during the first (and so far only) online process...

Well Gents, the cat's out of the bag and we have the full picture, thanks to Robert-Jan & the F.W. Team

I think they did an amazing job and I came very close to securing one but alas, a glitch in Omega's site and pushing the final confirmation button took me no where... But that's the way the dice roll, I suppose I hope that others who liked it as much were luckier

So I hear Omega has not only rolled out the first batches of the ST2 but they've even managed to move some "no shows" to those one the waiting list... way2go, Omega!

So there's still a chance... but I won't hold my breath and have no need to - the "original" ST still has my full attention!
