    Speedy Pro Clasp

    I'm picking up a Speedmaster Pro (311.30.42.30.01.005) with the steel bracelet. I'd like to from time to time swap it with a leather strap which I'll probably go third party but I may stick with the Omega clasp. Can anyone confirm the reference number for the Speedy Pro used deployment clasp that would come both the strap version?

    The 18mm clasp that comes on the Speedmaster Pro is 94521813.

    I’m sure the Speedy clasp is a 16mm, smaller than that in the Seamasters. I looked into the same, trying to use a PO deployant. Ended up with a Bob Strap. I think the Silver Snoopy has the 18mm though.

    Thanks. Looks there were was at least one or two for sale on other forums for about $200 that I just missed out on. I'll keep my eye out for anymore but also placed a call to one of the go to guys I know for really good Omega prices, he doesn't much over his cost.

    Re: Speedy Pro Clasp

    Actually stopped by a Swatch Tourbillon store and they didn't have the 94521813 but had another deployment clasp that looks the same along with some straps as well. I was very surprised the clasp was at $230 and the straps they had in stock about the same. I expected to be about double that. I'm waiting to hear back from my normal Omega guy but I may be going to the Tourbillon store instead.

    Re: Speedy Pro Clasp

    I just recently bought the Omega Rally strap and deployment through my AD. Details as follows:

    94521813 deployment (fits 18mm strap width)
    OME-98000024 rally strap, calf black padded with holes (20mm at spring bars, 18mm at deployment)
    068ST2208 spring bars (don't know if this was a necessity)

    I put it together with the same spring bars as the original bracelet (the spring bars were delayed...). I read there may be a size difference between spring bars designed for the bracelet and those for straps - supposedly the strap spring bar is larger diameter. Comments from others led me to believe a smaller diameter spring bar might allow the lug end of the strap to rotate out of alignment with the case. My experience has been otherwise, so I haven't been in a big hurry to pick up the new spring bars. When I do, I'll measure them to see if there is actually any difference.

    I'm a better lurker than poster, so here's my first attempt at uploading photos. And no, I'm not an EE - I am playing with micro-controllers just for the heck of it, so that's what happens to be on my desk tonight.

    Seiko SKX007, Omega Speedmaster Professional and Aqua Terra Master Co-Axial all equally loved.

    Hesalite Moon --> 20 mm strap / 16 at the buckle
    Sapphire Moon --> 20 / 18.

    Springbars : 2207 or 2208 (same diameter for both, btw), depending that's for a strap (longer) or a bracelet (shorter).
