I love the PO. I have owned 3 so far and always seem to go back to them

Do it! One of the best horological decisions you'll make.

I've owned three, a 2500D XL, which I unwisely traded for an 8500 XL, but the 42mm 2500D is the best one of all.

Absolutely a classic you have ... Omega never should have departed from this design. Just think about how many potential Submariner buyers Omega could have stolen if that person didn't like the new ceramic/maxi case. There's nothing wrong with aluminum !

PO is an amazing watch, my XL 8500 on my 7.5” flatish wrist......here on after market rubber, but also great on the factory bracelet, iso rubber or just a plain nice leather strap!

    Go for it!

Like all things they had to move on.... I chose the PO over a Sub, twice now.

The 42mm SMPO 2201.50 was and is the best SMPO

I will say though that I personally have switched to the SMPc chronograph, more function and the red and black scheme has a charm to it that the SMPO does not.
