Love how you chose this over the DJ.

Is the crown a screw down type? Didn’t know it was 100m WR, definitely intriguing.

Congrats on your trade and your Omega purchase. It is a stunning watch. One advantage of the fluted bezel is that it is not a scratch magnet. Also, the fluted bezel does a nice job of framing the dial. Enjoy your new Globemaster.

I’ve looked longingly at those since their release. I think that I prefer them on the leather strap, but I would definitely choose Globemaster over DJ. I like Roles and have a 216570 Polar, but a DJ just doesn’t fit my lifestyle the way a GM would.

I can see how that could be a potential flaw. I have a flat, bony wrist, so bracelets are touch-and-go with me, some are great, some are horrible. The curve of the Rolex Oyster clasp for example, means I have to wear a Oystered' Rolex with an Oyster with the clasp almost on the outside of my wrist.

The GM's individual links are very narrow, almost like half-links, and there's a lot of them. But, I did get lucky. I find it to be extremely comfortable.

Nope, just a push-in with good gaskets, just like the previous generation Constellation. I know it can do 100m because part of the METAS certification is verifying water resistance of the finished product. So I feel confident about wearing it on vacation where I'd go for a hike or something. When you handle the watch, you can tell it's a serious piece that can take more of a beating than its looks would suggest.

Then again, I've gone swimming with my Speedmaster and it's lowly 50m WR and I've never had a problem.
