Totally agree. I know the escape valve is contentious but if they get rid of it and make a 40mm I’m all in.

If they release a 150m gmt watch with gmt bezel and remove the escape valve, this, this will be the start of omega waiting list era lol
I must say that I find the idea of a GMT 2 contender really intriguing. They would tap into the current Rolex frustration, plus be a serious value contender with that movement.

I hear you, and also something that can actually micro-adjust. I am tolerating it on the Railmaster, but that’s only because to me it adds to the retro intent of the watch.

I know a lot of people don't like the He valve on the Seamaster Pros, but I do. It's unique and adds some character that no other piece like it has. But it's the same as the Rolex cyclops. Some like it, some don't.

Sadly I think Omega took the design cues from that one with the Spectre 300 LE.

True. Shame they were way off. That case, hands, dial...

Its those elegant wavy lugs of the Speedy/older SM300 that captures me each time.

If Omega had stayed true/close to design of SM300 (Ref. 165.024) all these years. Could have been up there with the Submariner.
