Well let’s see, without getting into review territory:)

I thought for the first week I would have to advance the watch timekeeping every couple of months by a minute or so as we averaged around a 0.7 second loss per day after wearing for most of the day and then with the watch on the night stand face up until the morning.

Turns out however that after a bit of experimentation the watch gains a second over 8 hours, crown down, so sorted that out fairly quickly.

Even better after the second week found out if I had the watch on 24 hours a day apart from when showering, it actually doesn’t lose or gain anything at all, every single day :)

I can only put this down the the mythical watch “settling down”, I have never experienced this phenomenon before, even with any other make or even another new Omega :)

I wear it Monday to Friday (it’s nicer under a work shirt than my POC)
Then it goes on the winder from Friday night till Sunday night whilst I swap to the POC.
With 55 hours power reserve it would last until the Sunday evening, but prefer to stick it in the winder for consistency.

Comfort wise it very quickly disappears on the wrist, I love the keeper, in that has a wee rubber pin on the back that grabs the nearest strap hole so it doesn’t move about, we all hate a flappy strap end right? :)

Looks wise I’m still in the honeymoon period you could say, I look at the watch for the time, look away and then realise I still didn’t get the time, not the watches fault mine for just ogling it :)
I’ve found the lume easily lasts all night, and also found the dial easy to read at all time’s of the day and all lighting conditions.
A friend of mine lent me the stainless strap for it and from a looks and how it feels to wear I definitely prefer the rubber.
Weirdly on my POC for which I have the rubber with deployant and the NATO, I prefer it it on the stainless :)

Oh and for any one that’s interested here’s the metas/cosc results

Any questions please feel free to ask :)

So, late shift over, to be followed by a weekend shift. Hope the rest of you is better off

And after two months on the bracelet it was time again for a more rugged look with the Nato.
