    WRUW Friday 14 February 2020

    The days seem to blend from one to another these days, staying up far too late for bond themes from Billie and new album releases, here’s my first super early WRUW :)

    Same old new Omega for the week, until Friday night when the big boy Omega comes out for the weekend.

    Hawkinge from MKII's RTW collection - this one punches well above its price point.

    How has ownership of the SMP been? Looks wicked on that strap.

    Very quiet week here, the nearby waterfront & old docks almost deserted in the afternoons

    Been wearing my 2503.52 Railmaster on the bracelet 24/7 this week, due to advocated frequent hand-washing.

    Will wear the same for Valentine's dinner tonight, & the weekend.
    Enjoy yours!

    Nice to see the RM on it's bracelet again. Been thinking about putting mine back on. Every time I do though, I put it straight back on leather within days. Just looks so nice on leather.

    Boy, am I glad this week is over.

    Wore the circa 1996 Oris Big Crown Pointer Date earlier in the week;

    My God, those lenses are dusty!

    And wore the 42mm 1st Gen Planet Ocean today. Got home (late) with a fresh bottle of Gin and decided that a Dry Martini was in order.
    Picked up this bottle of Boodle's Gin because A) they were out of Roku, which I had wanted to buy again, partly because of the cool bottle design, and B) I had wanted to give this gin a try, partly because it was named after the Boodle's Gentleman's Club in London, which was the basis for Blades, the club where M takes Bond in Moonraker (Ian Fleming, Published by Jonathan Cape, 1955).
    Two measures of this into the ice-filled cocktail shaker, stirred for about 20 seconds, and then poured into a (correctly-sized, IMHO) cocktail glass which has had just a kiss of Lillet Vermouth swirled around it and pow!

    I don't drink them often. Probably had less than a dozen of them in my lifetime. But I plan on making up for that. Here's my recipe for it;
