    Ghost Bezel Help “bleach”

I have an SKX175 incoming for some experiments.

I’d like the look of a faded “ghost” bezel but have some questions for those that have done similar damage.

Is it better to remove the bezel or can you just bleach the entire watch?

I’ve seen some where the blue is totally faded and the red is still bright? Would using “q” tips or cotton balls be a better route?

I’d remove the bezel and use cotton buds to better control the process if you want to bleach the blue more than the red. Don’t overbleach it in the first go. You can always lighten it a bit more if you want but if you go paler than you intended you can’t undo it.

I think I did okay. The red is still a little bright.

I think it Looks great! the bezel insert of my Invicta is aluminum but as I was fuming my watch I didn't notice it was touching the lid of the container in one spot, I would like to try the q-tip method to see if I can make it more uniform what do you think? Ant tips you could offer TIA!

Try it, but go very very slowly.
