    Home made Watch Winder with Arduino and Raspberry

    Here my new home made watch winder :)

    Components:

    Arduino C++ sketch running on an ESP8266EX D1 Mini from Lolin running @ 160MHz
    Raspberry + Home Assistant for Web GUI, automations and MQTT server
    ULN2003 BYJ48 Stepper motor
    SD1306 OLED 128x64 pixel 0.96"
    1000uf capacitor for 5V power stabilization
    Google Home Mini for Voice Recognition

    Here's a fun project idea: use cameras so that the system can check the time on the watches. System learns the affect on position on the rate of each watch. Automatically adjust the position over time to keep the watches close to in time by monitoring their deviations.

    It’s extremely clever but with words like Arduino and Raspberry involved it’s far too complex for me to even think about emulating it.
