    I Want One Of these...But They Are Very Hard To Find

    Seiko SKJ004P...two tone Kinetic....are they THAT old....anybody know what year(s) were they made.?

    I don't know, but I like the look of it. The lume of the second hand would drive me insane though. Can't stand it in the middle; needs to be at one end or the other...I'm guessing you've tried a Google search of the model number, etc?

    Very beautiful timepiece, indeed. I am pulling my hair when I hear my most favourite model watches are off the production line!

    One of my biggest horological mistake selling this one! Now it is discontinued! Aaarrrgggghhhhh!

    The 5M43 caliber was mainly used during the mid 90's.
    They come up for sale every now and then, but demand a premium price depending on the condition.

    The SKJ's are a great watch, I've got a few but not the 004. I do a have a 5M23-6B50 SHF048P which is very much like the 004 but it is in poor condition. The gold suffers a lot over time.

    They are a great grab and go watch, but can be difficult to keep a collection of them charged and running.
