New to the Seiko family and WatchUSeek!

    Hi guys,

This is Matt, new to the Seiko family and WatchUSeek (literally my first day)!

I finally got this beauty, words can't describe my excitement, this J14070 model has been on my radar for almost two years. I found a few examples online; either the condition was deplorable, or the price is unreasonable to me. About a week ago, I found this beauty from a French dealer with reasonable prices and great dial condition. There are some scratches in the back, obviously, but this doesn't matter! This piece comes with a relatively normal SD dial.

Now I can finally put my eyes on the modern spring drive model from Seiko. TBH, this is my favorite Seiko from the past. Please understand the poor quality of the photos (my scrappy phone).

    Have a great one, everybody!

Congrats and welcome to WUS. Thanks for sharing your story of waiting and searching for the right watch to add to your Seiko collection. The watch looks good on your wrist.

Lol! You are right man, my wallet says no, but my mind says yes. I have got my eye on Longines 30CH or the GS snowflake. Watches are truly an addiction!
