    Ordering a Tuna from ebay

Anyone order a new Tuna from ebay. Looks like most sellers are from Hong Kong or Japan with some having domestic shipping. Are these good to go or should I stay away from ebay.

I'd stick with Gnomon or Seiya and the like for something in that price range. I'm sure it'd be fine ordering from eBay grey market. But if it were me at that price I'd stick to the well known and trusted sellers we all talk about and who have stellar reputations.

That being said, sometimes discountshop has them on sale but right now the 031 is only about a $100 cheaper than Seiya. At that price I'd stick with Seiya.

At Seiya the 031 is $1035 and the 033 is $938.

Buying from eBay should be fine if you research the seller.

Only issue I had with an E-Bay seller was how old the inventory might be. My Darth arrived perfect but when I checked the expected battery change date I saw I already lost a year , so the watch was sitting around for awhile I don’t know if that’s common with the main stream vendors.

I’m a bit on the cautious side when it comes to the Bay so I tend to stick to Gnomon and the likes.

I believe I will order from one of the known sellers rather than take a chance

I have bought from discountshop-us before and the items were as listed (new)

They have the SBBN033 for $786 shipped and all the feedback for that model from them is good.

Plus they are in the USA so you get it quick and no chance at customs (I got whacked a few months ago with customs on a $1000 watch from Japan)

For a purchase of a new watch at that price point, I’d probably go with Seiya, Gnomon, or Sakura, all of whom I’ve had great success with. FWIW, Sakura is my preferred retailer for JDM pieces and I recently learned that they actually have some of their inventory on eBay and sometimes at a slight discount over their online store.
