Scratches the crystal on my Monster

So, I hit my watch on the kitchen counter top and put a pretty gnarly scratch right along the day/date of my Monster. I've searched online and can't find an OEM replacement. All of what I'm finding is a domed crystal, which is not what I'm looking for. Does anybody know where I can find a replacement crystal that isn't domed?

Also, when I get one, any recommendations in the Houston area to have it put on vs. sending it somewhere via mail?

    TIA!

    Here you go.

I had a big old gash in mine and it was my first crystal swap. I did go for domed Sapphire no coating, though and really like both the look and the tougher than hardlex AKA 'scrath-lex' material.

Here is the thread on my Monster crystal swap. pics show before and after...huge scratch!

If you don't find a close by repair person...you can send it to me...no charge....well except for shipping.

Steve0, thank you for the link and the offer! I found a flat sapphire from watchmaterial, but I do not recall seeing them mentioned on the board (as you can see, I mainly lurk). Are you familiar with them? If not, are you aware of a flat sapphire available? It may be worth going that route if I'm going to replace it.

    Chad,

you might try contacting this seller...I got mine from them. This listing is actually a flat crystal for a Seiko...which could lead to a flat Monster crystal. But I've not heard of flat crystals for Monsters ....only domed.

I’ve never seen a flat crystal for a Monster - only domed - so if you mange to track one down make sure it will fit.

So, I was wondering that as the description in the one SteveO posted says domed. They're all domed? If that's the case, I'll go with a sapphire.

Chad, Monster crystals look a bit flat but are in fact slightly domed in profile. I reckon it’s the fact that the top of the dome is flush with the bezel that makes ‘em look flat.
