I just watched a video from Random Rob, he mentioned a 8j81 movement, I'm not sure at this point if it's the same movement as the Dolce..
I do wish the Dolce was 36-38mm though!

I would pay 4x to have that Credor logo.

I wouldn't, especially if it's the same watch.

    It's the same movement.

I think 36mm would be perfect, but 33mm might be even better. I don't know.

OK...probably doesn't make the Credor owners very happy that the movement from a 400.00 Dolce is in a several thousand dollar watch, is this a old tech movement that made its way down to Dolce or still a current movement in Credor watches?

I owned several older 8J and the Credor is just overall much better with finish, dial layout (especially the logo and logo placement) and a majestic feel (more so for some blue hands, patterned dial).

The Dolce looks like another pretty nice Seiko you will forget tomorrow, with a stupid name to boot.

I understand it's still the same movement inside. But when it comes to quartz, the difference between those HAQ are pretty blurry. My 9940/9481/8F/8J perform better than my 9F but the zaratzu and GS-ness justify its pricetag. You get my point.
