So what was in that Auction from the other day???

Remember that auction I picked up the otehr day with the really dark pictures? Well the package arrived yesterday and here is what was inside the box (excuse the magnified pics, they make the watch look in rougher condition than it is):

The watch is a 6119-8121 sport diver in fantastic condition that is in need of some minor TLC and a matching bracelet in order to restore it to it's former glory. What is hard to tell from those pics, and nearly impossible to photograph, is the dial, which is not black, but rather an iridescent midnight blue

Now it is off to get it a cleaning, a relume, some minor metal work and a new bracelet. Any bracelet recommendations would be highly appreciated. I'm thinking Swedfreak's 20mm fishbone trimmed down to 19mm, but I'm open to suggestions.

Question Re: So what was in that Auction from the other day???

I think that watch might look interesting with a blue strap. For example, a blue Hirsch Extreme (if compatible) or something similar.

The second photo begins to hint at the color of the dial. I'm sure it is quite beautiful in person.

    Nice catch indeed.

I can see the color...looks very nice!

I think the trimmed down fishbone would look great on it.

Mine is a bit more beat up, but it is a nice design and a really solid watch.

Happy to see I'm not the only one with these. pretty neat case isn't it? I love the way that single facet curves down the sides of the case.
