Some help needed in identifying this Citizen Automatic

Well...like the topic title suggest I'm in need of some help. I have had this watch for 6 years but atfer 2 years of wearing it I've decided to put it in the box. While cleaning my watches today I found it...and it reminded me of the beautifull days of high school I've shared with it. So can anyone help me in identifying this Citizen. As far as I know it's an automatic with 21 jewels and it uses the Miyota 8200 movement. Just below 6 o'clock it says 8200 - R49177 - Y. On the back it says again 8200 but this time they add R11628 RC. The rest of the wrinting on the back is information regardin materials used and the usual Citizen Co. To me it looks like a Citizen 7. What do you think? Any info regading the 8200 calibre?!

    Hey Sawyer:

    Thanks for your post.

That's a tried and true movement.

    Specs:

    21 Jewels
21,600 BPH (6 beats per sec.)
    Uni-directional winding--counterclockwise
    Either gold-plated or nickel-plated : http://www.orientalwatchsite.com/for...hp?f=8&p=23877

The watch itself is on par with Seiko 5 and Orient 3 Star models. An everyday great watch.

Am I blind of what? I've been doing some research regarding the watches from citizen that came toghether with the 8200 movement...most of them were Citizen 7. Just above 6 o'clock you can see the eagle which is the simbol of the Citizen 7...it even has a 7 written on the chest of the eagle...Thank you Angelis for your help :-D

That's also a symbol for Citizen's Blue Eagle line of autos.

Keep that watch---it's a good one.

It's been with me since high-school...you can be sure it won't be going away. Plus...the 8200 is keeping real good time. Since 2 days ago it's been doing +7 or +8 a day. Pretty good for an automatic right? Thanks for the advice:thanks!

Citizen 7 autos go for around US$50-US$70 or thereabouts. Keep it, it is a nice watch and if it brings good memories, by all means.

Thank you MINIDriver. I will keep it without a shadow of a doubt because, at least to me, it's priceless!
