40 or 42 mm Oris Sixty Five?

I have a 6.75 inch wrist and am contemplating either a 40 or 42mm Oris Sixty Five. Gong to wear it on a leather strap most likely, any thoughts on which is the better looking size for a 6.75 inch wrist? Would appreciate wrist shots of owners with similar sized wrist. Thanks!

I guess both should look good on your wrist! In your case, I guess you should decide which one you prefer the most? The date window at the 3 'O' clock position with the 42mm or at the 6 'O' clock position with the 40mm!

Go with 40mm. The 65 bezel is quite slim which can make the crystal and dial look bigger than other 40mm divers. Plus the 40mm has a symmetrical dial with the date quite obscured at 6 o’clock position.

I’ve got the first reissue dial with that funky 3/6/9/12 hour markers but if I can choose now, I’d pick up that black dial with bronze bezel beauty...

%99 of people do not notice or care whats on your wrist. All that matters is that YOU like what you see.

You could get way with either but given your wrist size I would deffo go 40.

I have the same size wrist and think the 40 works much better for me. I also like the dial symmetry with the date at 6.

Took a few shots at WindUp so hopefully these help. You can tell which is which by the date window location. 3 o'clock for 42 and 6 o'clock for the 40.

I think the 40 just looks better both on and off the wrist.

Lug-to-lug on Oris 65 Divers are pretty significant. For the 40 mm, I think it's 48 mm. Manageable but the 42 mm case would probably bring the lug-to-lug to 50 mm. You will probably be able to pull it off, but something to keep in mind.

I am sorry I have no wrist shots, but my feeling is to go 42. I think that the detail of the dial design gets a little lost in the smaller size, if that makes any sense ? I have larger wrists, so perhaps you feel that the 42 is just too much ? Has to be personal preference of course. Good Luck choosing.
